1. WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR DOUJINSHI?
A few different places have served me well over the years. At the top of the list is, of course, eBay, though their listings are few and far between. Fisheye has hooked me up with approximately half of my entire ZS collection, but her site is currently not retail-oriented - auctions only. Drat. Of course, if you're into paying overseas shipping fees (it's pretty much a given if you want to start collecting doujinshi), check out JPqueen, a treasure trove of Japanese publications. Of course, when I get things up and running, I'll also be pimping my own import bookstore, but Kuroneko Books won't be open for business for some time now. I'll keep you informed, and maybe offer a Dizzy Discount. ^_~2. I'VE GOT SOME Z/S DOUJINSHI I SCANNED. WOULD YOU LIKE TO POST THEM ON DIZZY?Of course, the only stipulation here is: if you scan 'em, share 'em! Which leads us to our next point of clarification:
You're kidding, right? OF COURSE. The doujinshi thing is not only expensive, it's time-consuming to the nth degree. The less scanning and editing work I have to do, the happier I am. Plus, my financial situation currently isn't as great as it was at the beginning of the site's existence - thus, fewer doujin are coming in. The more help I can get from you guys, the better! So, that said, shoot anything you have my way. I'll take file attachments up to about 10MB, but after that my mail server starts to get a little sick of my crap. of course, if you have a willing server and would like to upload them, you can send me a link and I'll simply swap the file over to DHAK.3. I'VE GOT SOME (fanart, fanfic, screencaps, etc.). WOULD YOU LIKE TO POST THEM ON DIZZY?Of course, not everyone has e-mail programs so lenient, nor access to a file server. Therefore, if you e-mail me, maybe we can work out some other arrangements for file transfer, such as a DHAK FTP account for you and yours. Capice? All right then!
Send them on over! At the beginning of this site's history, I was intent on hand-picking the fanfic and fanart I archived, but that's gotten extremely tiresome - I just can't scour the 'net like I used to! So please, by all means, send in your files or your links and I'll be happy to archive your Z/S stuff!4. NEED SOMEONE TO TRANSLATE THOSE DOUJINSHI FOR YOU?
YES. I love scanlating, but as far as doing the actual translations, if it ain't English or Spanish, I'm LOST. I'm currently working with Henna, an awesome translator, to get some more scanlations up and running around these parts, but if you've got the knowledge and would like to join Dizzy's Translation Project Team, drop me a line and we'll talk. The most work you'll have to do is compiling the raw text translations in a text file with page indicators...after that, I do all the graphical work.5. CAN I USE SOME OF YOUR SCREENCAPS ON MY SITE?
I'm not that protective of the screencaps. I pushed a few buttons, K-F and my BitTorrent program actually did most of the work. So go for it.6. CAN I USE SOME OF THE FANART ON MY SITE?
If you're interested in using or archiving my work in particular, please contact me (I'll be happy to oblige). As for the rest of the artists featured, not without their express permission. Follow the links provided for the artist in question and try to take the questions up with him or her. Thanks!7. I HAVE AN IDEA FOR A FAN CONTEST...
That's not a question, but by all means, let me know! I come up with these things off the cuff, I need all the help I can get!8. WILL YOU LINK MY SITE?
Likely, if it's Z/S or One Piece related. Send me the link and I'll holla back.
